Job summary

Mitalent Recruitment Group in Sydney is seeking a technically strong Finance Professional/Business Partner to support the CFO as Head of Finance, moving the finance function from transactional to true business partnering. You will lead a high-performing team and drive a strategic finance agenda in a regulated environment.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on governance, FP&A, automation and insightful commercial analysis to support growth.

Qualifications

CA, CPA or equivalent required.
Head of Finance/FP&A or finance manager background.
Experience in automation and BI solutions.
Hands-on with full finance function.
Senior leadership in retail/wholesale/FMCG preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across finance operations, financial control, payroll, FP&A and external reporting.
Develop an outstanding business partnering model and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Drive the financial sustainability agenda including oversight of efficiency, productivity and revenue improvement initiatives.
Improve financial processes, systems and reporting using technology and automation.
Act as a trusted adviser to the CFO and Executive Team.
Own month end, management reporting, cashflow, working capital, commercial analysis and forecast/budgeting.
