Job summary

Technology Development Providers Pty Ltd is seeking a seasoned Head of Finance / CFO to lead strategic financial operations for the group and wagering clients from Sydney. You will oversee planning, reporting, governance, treasury, taxation, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis, working with executives, regulators, auditors and banking partners to ensure robust controls and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• CPA or CA qualification.
• Extensive senior financial leadership experience, preferably in wagering.
• Experience managing multi-entity corporate groups.
• Advanced financial modelling.
• Strategic planning capability.
• Leadership and people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the group's financial strategy.
• Provide financial advice to the CEO and Board.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Lead financial planning for expansion, acquisitions and new wagering brands.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation.
• Oversee all financial functions across Technology Development Providers and company clients.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly management reports, quarterly financial reports, annual statutory accounts, and consolidated financial statements.
• Manage all banking and treasury functions including cash management, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.
• Oversee corporate income tax, GST, payroll tax, betting taxes, and tax planning.
• Lead and mentor the finance team and build a high-performance finance function.
