Job summary

FMS Group is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the Group's financial accounting, reporting, governance and business performance. You will manage month-end close, treasury, and compliance while partnering with operational leaders to drive commercial outcomes.

The role reports to the General Manager Group Finance and requires strong technical accounting, stakeholder management and leadership across multiple business units. A competitive salary is on offer.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification.
• Experience in financial reporting and balance sheet governance.
• Strong month-end and year-end close experience.
• Experience leading Finance teams across multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee group financial reporting, P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting.
• Maintain strong financial controls, governance and accounting standards.
• Review business unit performance, variances and working capital.
• Support quarterly forecasting and financial analysis.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audit requirements and compliance.
• Manage banking, financing facilities, covenant reporting and lender requirements.
• Oversee Group cashflow forecasting and working capital management.
• Lead, coach and develop Finance Business Partners and team members.
• Drive improvements across Finance systems, processes, controls and reporting.
• Provide financial insight and commercial support to CFO, ELT and leaders.
