Job summary

FMS Field Mining Services Group in Mackay, Queensland, seeks a Group Financial Controller – Deputy CFO to lead core financial accounting, reporting, control, treasury and compliance for a growing mining services group.

You will collaborate with the CFO and executives to drive profitability, governance and strategic decision-making, while building a high-performing finance function across multiple units.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA/CPA with strong financial control and reporting background.
• Experience leading multi-business financial reporting and governance.
• Proven track record in treasury, cash flow and working capital management.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across divisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close, group reporting and P&L oversight.
• Maintain robust financial controls, balance sheet integrity and compliance.
• Provide commercial insights, variance analysis and profitability opportunities.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury and covenant reporting.
• Coach Finance Business Partners to deliver high performance.
