Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a motivated Groundsperson to care for the Phillip Island property, maintaining grounds, gardens, and landscape features. You will support room maintenance and ensure resort areas are tidy and well-kept for guests.

The role requires operating gardening tools, following safety guidelines, and flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed. Join a value-driven organisation focused on growth and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar groundskeeping role at hospitality or resort settings.
• Able to operate gardening tools and equipment safely.
• Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety principles.
• Attention to detail and customer-focused service.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays if required.

• Pruning trees, shrubs and hedges.

As the Groundsperson you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to owners and guests while performing duties such as cleaning, gardening and general care of landscape, nursery and growth of plants at our beautiful Phillip Island property.

Other tasks include:

• Room maintenance tasks including checks and repairs
• Maintaining all resort equipment in working order
• pruning trees, shrubs and hedges
• mowing and cutting grass and lawns
• looking after plants and flowers
• managing irrigation systems
• as well as a range of other grounds maintenance tasks.

What You’ll Bring

To be considered for this great opportunity you will be able to demonstrate the following;

• Previous experience in a similar role and creating exceptional & memorable experiences for guests.
