Job summary

Hometown Australia is seeking a casual Gardener/Maintenance Assistant for our Tingalpa community. You will handle lawn care, garden upkeep, pool maintenance and general village facilities maintenance, reporting to the Community Manager.

Must be reliable, skilled with lawn equipment and able to work independently or with the team. Applicants should have previous experience in similar roles, own transport, and the ability to multitask in a busy community setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in similar role.
• Experience with zero turn ride-on mowers and lawn equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive and highly organised with the ability to multitask.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.

About the role:

• Casual role, located in Tingalpa

We are currently seeking an energetic and committed individual to join our friendly team in our Community located in Tingalpa. Reporting directly to the Community Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for gardening as well as maintenance of the Village, Pools and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lawn mowing, whipper snipping and general garden upkeep and maintenance
• Perform routine maintenance to plant and equipment as required
• Perform daily cleaning
• Pool maintenance

Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in similar role
• Previous use of zero turn ride on mowers and lawn equipment
• Excellent communication and team work skills
• Proactive and highly organised with the ability to multitask
