Job summary

Hometown Australia, an established land-lease living communities operator, is hiring for a permanent on-site role in Toukley. The successful candidate will maintain gardens, pools and village facilities, mowing lawns, trimming, cleaning, and basic maintenance.

Experience in similar roles is preferred. Owning a vehicle is advantageous, and the role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team to keep the village in top condition.

About the role:

• Permanent role, located in Toukley

We are currently seeking an energetic and committed individual to join our friendly team in our Community located in Toukley. Reporting directly to the Community Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for gardening as well as maintenance of the Village, Pools and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lawn mowing, whipper snipping and general garden upkeep and maintenance
• Perform routine maintenance to plant and equipment as required
• Perform daily cleaning
• Pool maintenance

Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in similar role
• Previous use of zero turn ride on mowers and lawn equipment
• Excellent communication and team work skills
• Proactive and highly organised with the ability to multitask
• Must have own vehicle
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
