Job summary

Hometown Australia in Stanhope Gardens, NSW, is seeking an energetic gardener to maintain the Village grounds, pools and facilities on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Community Manager, you will handle lawn mowing, garden upkeep and routine maintenance with a proactive attitude.

The role requires reliability, good communication and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team, with own vehicle and proof of work rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role with lawn and garden maintenance.
• Experience with zero-turn mowers and lawn equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and work autonomously or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lawn mowing, whipper snipping and general garden upkeep and maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance to plant and equipment as required.
• Perform daily cleaning.

About the role:

• Permanent, FT role, located in Stanhope Gardens

We are currently seeking an energetic and committed individual to join our friendly team in our Community located in Stanhope Gardens. Reporting directly to the Community Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for gardening as well as maintenance of the Village, Pools and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lawn mowing, whipper snipping and general garden upkeep and maintenance
• Perform routine maintenance to plant and equipment as required
• Perform daily cleaning
• Pool maintenance

Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience in similar role
• Previous use of zero turn ride on mowers and lawn equipment
• Excellent communication and team work skills
• Proactive and highly organised with the ability to multitask
• Must have own vehicle
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
