Job summary

Hometown Australia is seeking a dedicated gardener/maintenance assistant for our Redhead village. You will handle lawn mowing, garden upkeep, pool maintenance and daily cleaning across the village and facilities, reporting to the Community Manager.

The role requires experience in similar work, ability to operate lawn equipment including zero-turn mowers, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-site local area.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in similar role.
• Previous use of zero turn ride on mowers and lawn equipment.
• Excellent communication and team work skills.
• Proactive and highly organised with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lawn mowing, whipper snipping and general garden upkeep and maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance to plant and equipment as required.

About the role:

• Permanent, FT role, located in Redhead
• Working across several locations in the local area

We are currently seeking an energetic and committed individual to join our friendly team in our Community located in Redhead. Reporting directly to the Community Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for gardening as well as maintenance of the Village, Pools and facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lawn mowing, whipper snipping and general garden upkeep and maintenance
• Perform routine maintenance to plant and equipment as required
• Perform daily cleaning
• Pool maintenance
