Job summary

Palm Lake Resort Pty in Tweed River is seeking a Groundskeeper for a full-time, hands-on role to maintain our resort gardens, lawns and outdoor areas. The position is 38 hours per week, 6am–6pm, Monday to Friday, ensuring year-round presentation for residents and visitors.

The successful candidate will have relevant gardening experience; a Cert III in Horticulture is advantageous. Licences such as ACDC are beneficial, and you will operate push/ride-on mowers, hedge trimmer, whipper snipper and

• Relevant gardening experience in a similar role.
• Qualification in Cert III Horticulture or equivalent is advantageous.
• ACDC chemical licence is advantageous.
• Ability to use equipment such as push mower, ride on mower, hedge trimmer, whipper snipper and blower.
• Possess the physical ability to undertake the requirements of the role, including bending, lifting and carrying.
• Initiative & the ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Control weeds and pests through the application of herbicides
• Raking and blowing leaves, pruning and disposing of dying vegetation
• Planting, mulching, and maintaining flowers and shrubs, including watering and maintenance of irrigation systems
• Oversee the outdoor presentation of all facilities, including BBQ & pool maintenance
• Ensure all mechanical equipment and tools are kept in good working order

We're looking for a committed and enthusiastic Groundskeeper to join our Palm Lake Resort Tweed Riverteam and help keep our resort grounds in pristine condition.

This is a Full Time role, working 38 hours per week between 6am to 6pm Monday to Fridayin a hands‑on capacity to maintain our gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas, ensuring they are safe, clean, and visually appealing. Your work will be essential to ensuring the resort grounds are presented to a high standard for our residents and visitors year-round.
