Job summary

Ingenia Communities is seeking a full-time Grounds & Maintenance Officer for Bermagui Holidays. You will maintain garden areas, perform repairs, and keep the park safe and welcoming for guests in a coastal setting.

The role requires C class licensing, practical grounds experience, and a proactive, safety‑minded approach. Flexible schedules and staff perks are offered at our Bermagui Holidays site.

Qualifications

• Prior grounds maintenance experience in a park, resort, or similar setting.
• C class driver license is essential.
• Commitment to safety and following site procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in coastal environments.
• Familiarity with pool or site-specific systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, mulching and edging.
• Keep grounds clean by debris removal, bin collection, and pest control as needed.
• Carry out general repairs and basic painting, lighting, fencing and small fixtures.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents/guests and liaise with trades as required.
• Support site presentation and safety by logging maintenance and reporting incidents.

We’re on the lookout for a full-time Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Bermagui Holidayssite.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming — ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well‑maintained environment every day.

In this Role, You’ll

• Maintain all garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and elevate issues to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and accurately logging all maintenance and repair activities.
