Job summary

Ingenia Communities is seeking a casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer for Merry Beach Holidays in Ulladulla, NSW. You will maintain gardens, perform general repairs, and respond to resident or guest maintenance requests to keep the site beautiful, safe, and welcoming.

This hands-on role requires practical knowledge of grounds care, safety procedures, and a current C class driver license. Flexible work arrangements apply with attractive staff perks and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance and site upkeep.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate basic tools.
• Clean driving record with a current C class license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, mulching, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance on tools, lighting, fencing and painting.
• Respond to maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and escalate issues as needed.
• Support site presentation and safety by logging maintenance activities and reporting incidents.

We’re on the lookout for aCasual Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Merry Beach Holidayssite.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming — ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well-maintained environment every day.

In this Role, You’ll

• Maintain all garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and elevate issues to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and accurately logging all maintenance and repair activities.
