Job summary

Ingenia seeks a Casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer for Bermagui Holidays to keep the park looking neat and welcoming. You will maintain gardens and perform repairs to ensure a safe, enjoyable guest environment.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll handle pruning, mowing, repairs, and guest maintenance requests with a hands-on, safety-conscious approach. A valid C-class license is required.

Qualifications

• Grounds and maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of site safety procedures and chemical handling.
• Practical knowledge of pool or site systems and related equipment.
• Current C class driver license is a must.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all garden areas: pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe: clear debris, bins, weed/pest control, pool areas if applicable.
• Perform general repairs: tools, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests and coordinate with trades as needed.
• Support site presentation and security by logging maintenance activities.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming — ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well-maintained environment every day.

In this Role, You’ll

• Maintain all garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and elevate issues to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and accurately logging all maintenance and repair activities.
