Job summary

Ingenia Communities is seeking a Full-Time Grounds & Maintenance Officer for our Chambers Flat Rentals site. You’ll keep the grounds and gardens well-presented, clean, and safe, with tasks spanning pruning, mowing, mulching, and basic repairs.

You’ll respond to guest requests and help maintain pool areas where applicable. Reporting to the Park Manager, this role supports site presentation, safety procedures, and routine maintenance across a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds and maintenance tasks such as pruning, weeding, fertilising, mulching, mowing and edging.
• Ability to respond to resident/guest maintenance requests and assist with minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests and log all activities.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents.

We’re on the lookout for a Full-Time Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Chambers Flat Rentals site.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming — ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well‑maintained environment every day.

In this Role, You’ll
