Job summary

Ingenia Communities seeks a Grounds and Maintenance Officer for Ingenia Holidays Ocean Lake on the NSW South Coast. The role is casual, with the potential for additional hours during peak periods, and involves repairs, garden work, and maintaining the site’s appearance.

You will work unsupervised, provide high levels of customer service, and support maintenance across villas and communal areas while ensuring safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position.
• Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Great customer service skills with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Administer all repairs and maintenance to tools, equipment and machinery.
• Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation and amenities; including fixing toilets and unhinged doors.
• Ensure sites are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times.
• Garden labour such as pruning, weeding, hedging and mowing to a high quality.
• Ensure proper and safe use and storage of materials, consumables and gardening equipment.
• Strip beds and remove linen from villas; clean and maintain exterior of Villa windows, decking and pathways.
• Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins and garden restoration.

About the Role

We are looking for a Grounds and Maintenance Officer to attend to repairs and maintenance issues and maintain the appearance of the site. Working unsupervised, you will be highly motivated and capable of providing a high level of customer service. This position is casual, with the potential for additional hours to be picked up during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Administer all repairs and or maintenance to tools, equipment and machinery
• Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation and amenities; including fixing toilets and unhinged doors
• Ensuring the sites are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times
• Garden labour such as pruning, weeding, hedging and mowing are to be completed in a timely manner and of a high quality condition
• Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables and gardening equipment
• Stripping of beds & removal of all linen from Villas as well as cleaning and maintaining exterior of Villa windows, decking, pathways etc.
• Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins, and garden restoration

About You
