Job summary

Ingenia Communities invites applications for a full-time Grounds & Maintenance Officer at Bermagui Holidays. You will keep the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming for guests, with hands-on duties spanning gardening, minor repairs, and general maintenance.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll help ensure a clean, well‑maintained environment daily. You’ll handle pruning, mowing, and repairs, with attention to safety, chemicals handling, and resident/guest needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds and maintenance roles.
• Current C class driver license.
• Ability to work safely with chemicals and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garden areas: pruning, weeding, mowing, edging, mulching.
• Keep grounds clean and safe; clear debris, manage pests/weeds, maintain pool areas if applicable.
• Perform general repairs including lighting, fencing, and basic painting.
• Respond to maintenance requests and liaise with trades if needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage and logging activities.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming — ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well‑maintained environment every day.

In this Role, You’ll

• Maintain all garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and escalate issues to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and accurately logging all maintenance and repair activities.
