Job summary

Ingenia Communities’ Cape Paterson Holidays site is seeking a Casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer to keep the park looking inviting, with garden maintenance and guest-focused service. You will manage outdoor spaces and assist with repairs, reporting issues to the Park Manager.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll perform repairs, assist with pool areas, and help with safety and presentation. A C-class license and hands-on maintenance experience are required, with a flexible, customer-focused

Qualifications

• Grounds maintenance experience and practical garden care.
• C class driver license is required.
• Ability to work with residents and guests in a live site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, mulching and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by debris removal, bin collection and pest control.
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance on facilities, lighting and fencing.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests and liaise with trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage and logging repairs.
• Involve stripping of villa linen and cleaning amenities as part of duties.

We're on the lookout for a Casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Cape Paterson Holidays site.

Reporting to the Park Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping the park looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming - ensuring guests enjoy a clean, well-maintained environment every day.

In this Role, You'll

• Maintain all garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.
• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas (if applicable).
• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.
• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and elevate issues to trades when needed.
• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and accurately logging all maintenance and repair activities.
• Stripping of Villa Linen and cleaning of amenities is included in this role
