Allambi Care in NSW invites applications for a Grounds Maintenance Assistant to maintain grounds across all Allambi properties, ensuring a clean, safe environment for clients and staff. You will perform landscaping tasks, operate and maintain equipment, and support welfare initiatives.

The role requires 12 months trade experience, a current manual driver’s license, WHS awareness, and checks such as Working with Children and NDIS Worker checks.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience in a relevant trade.
• Current Manual Driver's License
• Broad range of maintenance skills
• Experience with commercial ride-on mowers and other power garden equipment
• High level of physical health and fitness
• Outstanding communication, organisational and time management skills
• Strong team working skills

Responsabilités

• Maintain grounds and provide a clean, safe environment for clients and employees
• Mow and edge lawns; prune trees and shrubs
• Repair and maintain equipment
• Apply pesticides and fertilizers as necessary
• Support youth in relation to maintaining a job in the grounds maintenance industry
• Undertake additional tasks as instructed by Director Education & Development
• Work unsupervised and effectively for extended periods with multiple sites
