Job summary

Respect is seeking a Maintenance Services Assistant in Gracemere,QLD to keep facilities safe, clean and well-presented for residents. You will maintain buildings, gardens and public areas, manage stock, and assist with asset planning for refurbishments while overseeing contractors.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and garden upkeep experience.
• Current Driver’s Licence required.
• National Police Certificate/NDIS Working with Children (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with maintenance programmes or facility upkeep.
• Relevant trade certificate highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings, equipment and public areas to safety/quality standards.
• Carry out general maintenance to keep facilities in good order.
• Provide garden care and upkeep of outdoor spaces and beds.
• Maintain maintenance records and schedules.
• Manage stock levels for repair materials and gardening supplies.
• Support asset register upkeep and refurbishment planning.
• Coordinate with contractors and oversee site activities.
