Job summary

Hunter Philips Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Grid Connection Manager/Engineer to lead end-to-end grid connection submissions for renewable projects and engage with AEMO and network operators.

You will review designs against grid codes, supervise third-party contractors for HV substations, and manage risk to ensure project feasibility and timely delivery. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with strong delivery focus and Australian work rights.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Extensive experience as a Grid Professional in utility-scale projects.
Strong understanding of grid codes and AEMO processes.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of grid connections for renewable projects.
Manage end-to-end grid connection submissions and negotiations with stakeholders (AEMO, network operators).
Review electrical designs against grid codes and supervise third-party contractors for HV substations and balance of plant.
Collaborate on grid connection applications and negotiate conditions with network operators.
Identify and manage risks to project feasibility and delivery.
