Job summary

SourceFlow is seeking an experienced Grid Connection Manager/Engineer to lead the end-to-end delivery of grid connections for renewable projects in Australia. The role requires deep knowledge of grid codes, AEMO engagement, and coordination with network operators.

You will guide both design and execution for HV substations, supervise contractors, and manage risk while liaising with developers and service providers to ensure timely, compliant project delivery across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience as a grid professional on utility-scale projects.
• Knowledge of Grid Code, AEMO, and network operators.
• Strong commercial sense with risk and contract negotiation experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Valid visa to live and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of grid connections for renewable projects.
• Manage end-to-end grid connection submissions and negotiations with stakeholders (AEMO, etc).
• Provide technical expert guidance on design, authorisation, and execution for HV substations and grid connections.
• Review electrical designs against grid codes and supervise 3rd party contractors.
• Collaborate on grid connection applications and negotiate conditions with network operators.
• Manage risk and issues related to grid connection delivery.
