People Equity is opening a brand-new large-format store in Grafton and seeks a Store Manager to lead from day one. You'll recruit and build your team, shape culture, and set standards as the doors open.

With opening day 6-8 weeks away, you'll oversee pre-opening preparations, onboarding across stores, and the launch. This role offers a generous package including base salary, super, bonus and a fully maintained vehicle, with every opportunity to build a long-term career.

Here's the exciting part... A brand-new large-format retail store is about to open in Graftonas part of the new Gateway Centre development - and we're looking for the Store Manager who will bring it to life.

With opening day only 6-8 weeks away, you'll join at exactly the right time.
This isn't a store you're inheriting.

• Recruit and build your team from scratch.You'll play a key role in selecting the people who will stand beside you on opening day and help create the culture you want your store to be known for.
• Lead a brand-new store opening.From pre-opening preparation and team onboarding through to launch and beyond, you'll have the opportunity to put your stamp on the operation from day one.
• Be properly supported before you take the keys.You'll experience an excellent onboarding program, spending time across other stores and learning the business before stepping into your own.

About you
You're already an accomplished Store Manager (or ASM ready to take a step up) from a medium or large-format retail environment, and you've built your reputation by getting the best out of both people and performance.

You'll bring:

• Strong retail instincts.Stock availability, merchandising, inventory, wage control, shrinkage and customer service are second nature.
• The confidence to make decisions and back yourself.You're comfortable taking ownership and creating structure when there isn't an established store routine to simply step into.
• A leadership style people naturally follow.You're visible, approachable, decisive and never afraid to roll up your sleeves alongside your team.
