Job summary

Epping Plaza Hotel in Melbourne seeks an experienced Gaming Supervisor for an overnight graveyard shift on a full-time basis. The role requires overseeing all overnight gaming room operations and ensuring compliance with Victorian gaming, liquor and responsible gambling laws, while delivering exceptional guest service.

You will lead and mentor a team, balance tills, handle cash, and conduct audits, balancing stamina to maintain service excellence through the night. Casual is also an option.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Gaming Supervisor or similar leadership role within hospitality (hotel, club or casino)
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Hands-on leadership approach, supporting the team and leading by example

Epping Plaza Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-time Gaming Supervisor to join our professional team in an overnight graveyard shift role. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional problem-solving abilities, and can confidently oversee gaming operations while delivering outstanding customer service.

Casual is also optional.

About You

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Gaming Supervisor or similar leadership role within a hotel, club, or casino environment

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Has a hands-on approach to leadership, actively supporting the team and leading by example

• Strong cash handling, reconciliation, and auditing experience

• Proven ability to coach, develop, and support team members to achieve high performance standards

• Thorough understanding of Victorian gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements

• Experience across gaming, bar service, wagering, and customer service operations

• Confident communicator with excellent leadership skills

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

• Highly reliable, organised, and self-motivated

• Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts

Essential Requirements

• Current Victorian RSA Certificate

• Current Victorian RSG Certificate

• Current Victorian Gaming Employee License

• Availability to work overnight graveyard shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Desirable (Not Essential)

• TAB Accreditation (TAB Basics and/or Advanced)

• First Aid Certificate
