Job summary

Arden Homes, part of the NEX Building Group and Victoria’s award-winning builder, invites graduates to join its 2027 Graduate Program. Commencing February 2027, the structured two-year program offers rotations across residential building, with mentoring and leadership development.

You’ll be based in the Melbourne office, Monday to Friday. Ideal candidates graduated in 2025 or 2026 with degrees in Construction Management, Building and Design, or related fields, who are eager to learn, communicate

Qualifications

• Graduated in 2025 or 2026.
• Degree in Construction Management, Building and design, Built Environment, Property Development, Project Management, Trade Qualification or related discipline.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrate initiative, curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Willing to undertake occasional interstate travel as part of the Graduate Program.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured 2-year Graduate Program with rotations across residential building disciplines.
• Learn from experienced professionals and develop technical and leadership capabilities.
• Attend soft skills workshops, keynote sessions, and mentor/buddy support.
• Transition into a permanent role within NEX Building Group upon successful program completion.

This opportunity is ideally suited to graduates with a passion for drafting and estimating.

About the Program

Commencing February 2027, our structured 2-year Graduate Program provides exposure to multiple areas of the residential building industry through a series of rotations. You’ll be based in the office Monday to Friday.

Throughout the program, graduates will participate in:

• Soft skills and professional development workshops
• Keynote speaker sessions with industry and business leaders
• A collaborative graduate group project
• Leadership development opportunities
• Tours of Supaloc, MyChoice, display homes and key supplier locations
• Dedicated mentor and buddy support

Following successful completion of the program, graduates will transition into a permanent role within NEX Building Group.

About You

• Graduated in 2025 or 2026
• Hold a degree in Construction Management, Building and design, Built Environment, Property Development, Project Management, Trade Qualification or related discipline.
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrate initiative, curiosity and a willingness to learn
• Are passionate about building a long-term career in the residential construction industry
• Are willing to undertake occasional interstate travel as part of the Graduate Program
