Liontown Limited in Australia is seeking Graduate Geologists to join Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation. You will rotate through Project Geologist, Underground Mining Geologist and Geology Technician to build foundational ore body knowledge and support grade control activities.

This full-time, permanent role is based at Kathleen Valley on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth, offering exposure to geometallurgy, data management, and cross-functional technical projects within a technically rich

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Geology or Earth Sciences (graduated within the past 2 years).
• Some familiarity with tools, instruments or software relevant to your discipline.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary mining team.
• Prior site experience or internships in a mining environment is highly regarded but not essential.
• A valid manual Australian driver's licence.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.

Responsabilités

• Rotate through Project Geologist, Underground Mining Geologist and Geology Technician functions to build foundational ore body knowledge.
• Complete wider rotations through processing and engineering to understand the full mine value chain.
• Support short-term grade control through core logging, face mapping and monitoring of grade control drilling and material movement.
• Assist with drill design peer review, sample collection and database/QA-QC standards under guidance of senior staff.
• Gain exposure to ore control and geometallurgy, including ROM/crusher feed planning, ore-waste designation and stockpile management.
• Support production delivery by preparing Stope Notes, paste notes, block notes and Mining Instructions.
• Enter sampling data into the database accurately and help validate daily material movement and production tracking data.
• Contribute to reporting and reconciliation, escalating discrepancies as needed.
