Job summary

Catalyst Metals Ltd in Western Australia invites a Graduate Geologist to join our underground and open pit mining operations, with exposure to exploration drilling campaigns. The role is embedded within our mining team to support safe and reliable production.

Commencing January 2027 you will work an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, with hands-on data interpretation, geological modelling, and collaboration with technical services.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Geology is required.
• Commitment to safety, health, environment and technical requirements.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a team.
• Current manual driver’s license is required.
• Ability to pass Police Clearance, pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen.
• Australian Permanent Residents or permits to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Join underground and open pit mining operations with exploration drilling campaigns.
• Collaborate with mining and technical services to drive safe, predictable production outcomes.
• Contribute to geological modelling feeding the six-month production plan.
• Apply disciplined interpretation and real-time decision-making in a hands-on environment.
