Job summary

Agilent Technologies Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer to support customers with installation, maintenance and repair of system solutions on-site at customer locations. You will install and optimize hardware, software, and network configurations and diagnose performance issues.

The role involves proactive problem solving, customer training when needed, and collaboration with Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D. Remote work option is available with up to 25% travel across Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Fresh graduates or up to 1–2 years of professional experience welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Support customers on-site with installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair.
• Install and optimize hardware, software, and network configurations at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance issues.
• Provide preventive maintenance guidance and configurations.
• Train field engineers or customers when required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions and manage escalations.
• Work on associated projects and possibly qualify leads.
