Job summary

Betashares Group invites graduates to join its 2027 Graduate Programme in Sydney, blending technology, operations and investment management. Over 24 months, you’ll rotate across Digital Tech & Transformation, Direct Operations, ETF Operations and Portfolio Management.

You’ll design, build and ship real software and data projects, learning from experienced engineers and analysts while gaining insight into financial markets and investment products.

Qualifications

• Currently completing or recently completed a relevant degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build a technical solution and write code in at least one general-purpose language.
• Foundational knowledge of software engineering concepts: version control, testing, debugging, databases, APIs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills for accurate work.
• Curiosity about AI, automation and emerging tech to improve how work is done.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills with willingness to learn across tech, markets and investments.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across tech, operations and investment teams.
• Contribute to real software and data projects that support business priorities.
• Work with engineers to understand problems, options and solutions.
• Design, build, test, and document code as part of project delivery.
• Analyze data and processes to identify issues and improve efficiency.
• Use version control, testing and documentation to produce reliable solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams and operations to deliver outcomes.
• Present learnings and outcomes after each rotation.
