Job summary

SAGE Automation in Brisbane is seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to join Australia's leading automation and control systems integrator. You will work on real-world projects, from kick-off through handover, gaining hands-on experience with design documentation, PLC/RTU/SCADA programming, and on-site commissioning.

Qualifications

• Be a recent graduate of an Electrical Engineering degree or relevant engineering degree eligible for state-based engineering registration.
• Demonstrate some knowledge of PLC, SCADA and HMI systems.
• Understanding of electrical circuit fundamentals.
• Have high computer competency, particularly with MS Office.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, proactive and resourceful with a great attitude.
• Have a strong desire and interest to work within the automation industry.

Responsibilities

• Focus on electrical engineering, control systems and automation.
• Have the confidence and ability to liaise with management and internal teams to provide assistance with the technical delivery and execution of projects.
• Work within a supportive team environment alongside other junior and senior Engineers, providing project assistance to the Project Managers and Automation Technicians.
• Assist Estimators with the development of proposals and tender bids.

In this role you will:
