Job summary

Central Solutions Group Pty Ltd – Kemps Creek NSW is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer or final-year Civil Engineering student to join our small family-run demolition and civil construction team. This hands-on role offers exposure across estimating, site operations, project coordination and construction, with mentorship from company owners.

You will gain experience from planning through delivery on live projects, learn to read plans, perform take-offs, and help with WHS documentation, site

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or final-year student.
• Basic AutoCAD and construction plan-reading skills.
• Valid White Card.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Interest in civil construction and demolition.

Responsibilities

• Reading construction and engineering plans.
• Quantities, take-offs and project estimating.
• Site set-out, levels, measurements and basic surveying.
• Preparing SWMS, demolition work plans and WHS documentation.
• Liaising with builders, certifiers, consultants and councils.
• Coordinating and scheduling machinery, trucks and site crews.
• Assisting with day-to-day project and site operations.
• Supporting project planning, documentation and administration.

Graduate Civil Engineer – Demolition & Civil Construction

Small Family-Run Civil & Demolition Company | Sydney

We are a small, family-run demolition and civil construction company looking for a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer or final-year Civil Engineering student to join our team.

This is a hands‑on opportunity to gain valuable experience across estimating, site operations, project coordination and construction, working directly alongside the company owners. You’ll have genuine exposure to projects from planning through to delivery, with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills and progress within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Reading construction and engineering plans
• Quantities, take-offs and project estimating
• Site set‑out, levels, measurements and basic surveying
• Preparing SWMS, demolition work plans and WHS documentation
• Liaising with builders, certifiers, consultants and councils
• Coordinating and scheduling machinery, trucks and site crews
• Assisting with day‑to‑day project and site operations
• Supporting project planning, documentation and administration

About You

We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, practical, organised and willing to get involved on site.

• A Civil Engineering degree or be in your final year of study
• Basic AutoCAD and construction plan-reading skills
• A valid White Card
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• An interest in civil construction and demolition
