Seymour Whyte Constructions is inviting Civil Engineering graduates to join our 2026 Graduate Program in Canberra. You’ll work on diverse infrastructure projects, gain hands-on experience, and receive structured training and mentoring from industry experts as you begin your career.

The two-year program aligns with our Engineering Competency Matrix, offering clear development paths, regional opportunities, and exposure to VINCI’s global network as you learn through real project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (recently completed).
• Ability to pick up systems quickly with a strong understanding of Excel.
• Previous work experience highly regarded with construction industry experience desirable.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Seymour Whyte's two-year Graduate Program in Operations on major civil infrastructure projects.
• Gain hands-on experience under mentoring from industry experts and structured training.
• Contribute to projects across the Canberra region and learn through practical, real-world deliveries.

About you:

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (recently completed).
• Ability to pick up systems quickly with a strong understanding of Excel.
• Previous work experience highly regarded with construction industry experience desirable
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
