Job summary

Novo Nordisk Oceania is seeking a GP Sales Representative to promote our therapies to General Practitioners and Pharmacists across Perth East, including Midland, Cannington, and Gosnells, with trips to Kalgoorlie and Bunbury. You will build patient-centric HCP relationships and drive a robust omni-channel strategy.

The role requires strong sales experience in pharma or related fields, a tertiary degree in Life Sciences or Biomedical, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• GP sales experience in pharmaceutical or similar industry.
• Strong sales track record of achieving targets.
• Tertiary education in Life Sciences, Nursing, or Biomedical fields.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly, including weekends.
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Promote Novo Nordisk products to GPs and Pharmacists in the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute a robust territory business plan with face-to-face and digital engagements.
• Conduct group presentations and monitor competitors' activities with reporting.
• Work adhering to ethics, Novo Nordisk Way and local laws.
• Travel within the territory and occasional extended hours.

Your New Role

In this full time permanent role you will be promoting to General Practitioners and Pharmacists across Perth East including, Midland, Cannington, Canning Vale, Gosnells, Vic Park, with a country trip to Kalgoorlie and Bunbury. You will experience variety, autonomy, strong working relationships with customers, and the chance to promote a lifesaving drug. You will be responsible for:

• Engaging with existing General Practitioners and expanding the target group of customers.
• Being highly organised, self-motivated, driven to build patient centric HCP relationships.
• Developing and executing a robust territory business plan leveraging face-to-face as well as digital engagements with HCPs/GPs to create a personalised omni-channel experience for our customers.
• Executing marketing strategies and conducting group presentations as well as monitoring competitors' activities and reporting directly.
• Working in accordance with business ethics procedures and local laws, as well as Novo Nordisk Way and policies.

Your New Department.

Novo Nordisk Oceania is a high performing affiliate within a mature pharma market environment. You will have the opportunity to liaise with colleagues from the Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical, Medical & Regulatory departments in our head office at North Sydney, while developing and implementing territory business plans and prospecting new customers to drive sales results for our new and existing products.

As GP Sales Representative, you will join our high performing sales team that promotes Novo Nordisk products both in person and virtually in your designated territory. You will report directly to the State Sales Manager

Your Skills & Qualifications

We’re looking for a new GP Sales Representative who will enjoy working in a high-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll bring with you:

• GP sales experience in the pharmaceutical or similar industry, ideally worked and lives on or near the advertised geographical territory.
• Strong sales experience with proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Tertiary education, preferably in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical with the ability to take on complex data and disseminate to our customers.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly, including occasional extended hours and weekends.
• Must either be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
