Job summary

Myhealth Toowong is seeking an experienced Practice Manager with at least 2 years in GP practice management to lead a busy team and drive operational excellence in a full-time role.

You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, manage patient appointments and ensure high standards of care, with a focus on team culture and continuous development in a supportive environment. This role offers relocation assistance and a collaborative, values-led culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in GP practice management
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience managing nursing and administration staff preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead doctors to ensure smooth operational workflows
• Oversee day-to-day practice operations with focus on quality care
• Facilitate inductions and in-house training for new staff
• Manage diary scheduling system with Clinical Team, including waitlist management
• Provide solution-focused management to clinic operations and doctor queries
• Lead a team with a hands-on approach to patient care
