Job summary

Going Medical Group in Toowoomba, QLD, is seeking a Practice Manager to lead a growing multi-site GP team. You’ll oversee 10 doctors, registrars, and an expanding skin and aesthetics service, driving operations, staffing, and billing performance.

You will champion AI and digital tools to streamline admin, ensure accreditation and WHS, and partner with the Group COO and central teams to realise growth goals.

Our High Street practice in Rangeville is growing fast. With 10 doctors, GP registrars in training and an expanding skin and aesthetics service, we need a Practice Manager to lead the next stage of growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the reception and nursing team: rostering, onboarding, performance and culture
• Run day-to-day operations: patient flow, doctor sessions, appointments and phones
• Support GPs and registrars: schedules, onboarding, supervision logistics and training requirements
• Grow the skin and aesthetics service: bookings, procedure rooms, stock, pricing and promotion
• Drive billing performance: MBS compliance, care plans, health assessments, recalls
• Maintain accreditation, policies, infection control and WHS
• Use and champion AI and digital tools to streamline admin and reporting
• Work closely with the Group COO, other practice managers, internal accountants and central teams across GMG

About you

• Experience managing or co-ordinating in Australian general practice
• Comfortable working in a large, multi-site team, sharing staff, systems and ideas across GMG
• Confident with technology and keen to use AI in everyday practice operations
• Solid MBS knowledge and comfortable working with billing data
• A calm, direct people leader who solves problems early
• Experience with registrars/training practices, skin or aesthetics, and accreditation highly regarded
