Job summary

LexisNexis is seeking a growth‑minded Relationship Manager to join our Government segment in Australia. You will manage and expand a portfolio of government accounts, focusing on retention, renewals, and long‑term value creation, acting as a trusted advisor on policy, compliance and regulatory needs.

The role offers a hybrid work model with regular client meetings and opportunities to promote AI‑driven solutions across procurement, legal and compliance functions, with strong development

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in sales or account management.
• Proven ability to manage and grow customer accounts, including government clients.
• Ability to articulate value with AI-driven solutions and navigate complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of government accounts (initially ~50).
• Build and maintain relationships across procurement, legal, compliance and policy.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across teams and use cases.
• Oversee transitions from Business Development and manage accounts through full sales lifecycle.
• Conduct 15–20 client meetings per month (virtual and in-person).
• Develop territory and account plans aligned to government priorities.
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, CRM records and reporting.
• Stay informed on government trends, legislation, and regulatory developments.
• Promote AI fluency and enable adoption of AI, automation and analytics.
