Job summary

Centenary Park Golf Course, now managed by Peninsula Leisure, seeks an energetic Golf Operations assistant to help deliver a welcoming, efficient venue experience. You will work across front- and back-of-house tasks, manage bookings, cash handling, and assist coaching programs with PGA professionals.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• First Aid certification is required.
• Police Records Check is required.
• Working with Children Check is required.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service at reception and in the café.
• Process point-of-sale transactions and manage bookings in person, by phone, and online.
• Handle customer feedback and escalate issues as required.
• Provide basic advice on golf equipment and apparel and assist with hire equipment management (carts, clubs, range balls).
• Oversee driving range operations to ensure a positive experience for all users.
• Prepare and serve basic food and beverage items.
• Maintain a clean, well-presented café and service area in line with food safety standards.
• Support course operations including stock handling, marshalling, and event setup.
• Work with PGA professionals and casual staff to support coaching programs and participation.
