Role Description

The GLOBE Outlet Store Manager oversees daily operations of the outlet store in Port Melbourne, VIC, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and customer-focused in-store experience. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for leading and mentoring store team members, managing staffing schedules, and driving sales performance to meet revenue and profitability targets. The Store Manager coordinates merchandising and visual presentation, maintains inventory accuracy, and implements retail loss prevention procedures to protect company assets. The role includes monitoring customer service standards, resolving escalated customer issues, and promoting Globe International’s brand values and products. The Store Manager also analyzes store performance metrics, prepares reports, and collaborates with head office to execute promotions, align with broader business objectives, and support continuous improvement of store operations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering positive in-store experiences.
• Effective Communication abilities to interact with customers, lead store teams, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Experience in Store Management, including team leadership, scheduling, merchandising, and day-to-day retail operations.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Previous retail management experience, ideally within apparel, footwear, or boardsports-related environments.
• Ability to interpret sales and performance data, set targets, and implement initiatives to improve results.
• Competence in using point-of-sale systems and basic office software for reporting and communication.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays, as required for retail operations.
