Job summary

Nasdaq Australia is seeking an AVP - Program Manager to shape and deliver complex technology solutions for global market infrastructure. You will lead cross‑border delivery with executive client engagement and rigorous governance within Nasdaq's Client Success organization.

You will need executive presence, deep fintech understanding, and the ability to mobilize cross‑functional teams across borders towards a shared vision while maintaining hybrid work in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technology program management within financial markets or a comparable global industry.
• Proven track record leading large-scale, complex delivery programs across international cross-functional environments.
• Strong executive presence with credible engagement with senior clients and internal leadership.
• Mentoring Project Managers to uplift delivery capability.
• Deep understanding of financial technology infrastructure and the full software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication across diverse geographies and stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end program strategy for complex technology implementations aligned with Nasdaq's global objectives.
• Represent Nasdaq with senior external stakeholders, clients, and internal leadership via governance and steering committees.
• Drive financial accountability through budget creation, tracking, and risk management with proactive mitigation.
• Champion QA and progress reporting standards across all program phases.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Project Managers under your governance to build capability and high performance.
• Ensure adherence to global delivery standards while navigating international client environments.
