Job summary

Berendsen Fluid Power is seeking an organised and proactive Procurement & Asset Coordinator to join our Norwest Head Office team. You will coordinate international purchasing, inbound shipments, fleet administration and asset records, providing practical support to our branch network and keeping day-to-day operations moving.

You will work closely with overseas suppliers, freight providers and internal stakeholders, ensuring orders are followed through, delivery updates are communicated and

Qualifications

• Experience in international procurement and overseas supplier management.
• Practical experience with foreign currency purchasing and payment coordination.
• Experience coordinating freight, shipping and import documentation.
• Confidence using ERP or purchasing systems and managing PO processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Raising and managing purchase orders with overseas suppliers, ensuring pricing, quantities and delivery details are accurate.
• Coordinating inbound freight, import documentation and customs clearance requirements.
• Tracking shipments and keeping branch teams informed of delivery dates and delays.
• Coordinating foreign currency purchasing and payment requirements, working with Finance to resolve landed cost discrepancies.
• Supporting fleet requirements, including vehicle allocations, servicing, transfers and upcoming lease renewals.
• Coordinating the purchase and maintenance of small plant and equipment.
• Maintaining accurate asset records, including serial numbers, warranties, locations and transfers.
• Working with coordinators across Questas Group to share supplier knowledge, improve processes and support consistent purchasing practices.
