Job summary

Berendsen Fluid Power Australia seeks an organised Workshop Coordinator / Planner to join our Wetherill Park team. You will estimate jobs, coordinate workflow from quote to completion, and keep every job on track so customers receive the right work on time.

You will be a key contact for sales, customers, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring timely updates and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise across sales, customers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple jobs at different stages.
• High level of initiative and attention to detail.
• General engineering knowledge and ability to read/interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Experience estimating, scheduling, or coordinating workshop jobs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate estimates and quotes based on scopes of work and direct customer requests.
• Booking in jobs and completing Job Cards within 24 hours of receiving the job PO
• Preparing Bills of Materials with pricing and availability confirmed
• Building Job Packs with Job Cards, BOMs and Work Instructions for start of work
• Keeping WIP up to date and providing clear job updates in progress meetings
• Liaising with sales and customers, informing delays and status
• Coordinating with suppliers and contractors for pricing and on-time delivery of components
