Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Sydney seeks an HR Business Partner to lead HR coverage for Infrastructure Divisions and support the Senior HR Business Partner for Institutional Securities. You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, guiding people priorities and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced global firm.

The role sits within Human Capital Management and involves partnering with managers across the business to deliver people strategies, leadership development, and workforce planning

Qualifications

• University degree required; 6+ years in HRBP or similar roles.
• HRBP experience in financial services or matrixed organisations.
• Strong business acumen with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Excellent communication, project management and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Australian employment law (Fair Work Act/NES) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to senior business leaders on workforce and organisational priorities.
• Partner with leaders to develop and execute people strategies supporting performance and growth.
• Lead talent, performance, succession, promotion, and compensation processes with insights.
• Advise on employee relations, change management and risk mitigation.
• Drive leadership development in collaboration with regional Centres of Excellence.
• Plan workforce, design organisations, and guide internal mobility.
• Use workforce data and market intelligence to inform strategic planning.
• Collaborate with Compensation, Legal, Compliance, Employee Relations and Recruitment teams.
• Champion inclusive, high-performance culture and participate in firm-wide initiatives.
• Lead strategic HR projects to enhance employee experience and organisational capability.
