Job summary

Our Sydney based client, Bayside Group, seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to own the HR function and collaborate with senior leadership. This role blends strategic partnering with hands-on HR to shape culture, talent and the employee experience.

You will work on people strategy, workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and lifecycle activities, while advising on employee relations and performance—delivering high-impact HR leadership in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of generalist HR experience, ideally at HRBP level.
• Strong employee relations, recruitment and workforce planning experience.
• Commercially minded and confident partnering with senior leaders.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
• Proactive, resilient and comfortable working autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders on people strategy and workforce planning.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
• Provide advice across employee relations, performance and workplace matters.
• Drive employee engagement, retention and talent initiatives.
• Lead performance and career development processes.
• Support organisational change and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation.
• Use people data to support business and workforce decisions.
