Job summary

Magic Eden is seeking an HR Operations Lead to run day-to-day people operations for a globally distributed team. You’ll own onboarding/offboarding, HRIS data, and Deel EOR management, supporting US, UK and Australia entities with local requirements and benefits.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll shape and grow the HR function as the company scales, handling sensitive employee matters with discretion and ensuring cross-time-zone collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR operations at a fast-moving company.
• Experience handling sensitive employee matters with discretion.
• Hands-on with Rippling or similar HRIS.
• Experience managing an EOR workforce via Deel.
• Working knowledge of Australian employment requirements.
• High attention to detail and reliable processes.
• Clear, warm written communication across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and offboard employees end to end in partnership with Recruitment and IT.
• Own Rippling HRIS data accuracy and workflows.
• Manage Deel EOR workforce onboarding, contracts changes and day-to-day liaison.
• Support US, UK and Australian entities with contracts, leave and local requirements.
• Administer benefits across regions with broker coordination for US Open Enrollment.
• Partner with Finance on payroll, ensuring starters and leavers are recorded accurately and on time.
• Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment.
• Be the first point of contact for policies, leave, benefits and paperwork.
• Document and tighten HR processes to scale across countries and time zones.
