Job summary

Magic Eden is seeking an HR Operations Lead to own the day-to-day people operations for a globally distributed team. You’ll manage onboarding, offboarding, HRIS (Rippling) and an EOR workforce (Deel), reporting to the COO and partnering with Recruitment, IT and Finance.

This hands-on role offers a clear path to scaling our HR function, handling sensitive matters with discretion, aligning payroll with finance, and shaping processes across US, UK and Australia while embracing AI-driven automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR operations at a fast-moving, globally distributed company.
• Experience handling sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment.
• Hands-on experience with Rippling or a similar HRIS.
• Experience managing an EOR workforce, ideally through Deel.
• Working knowledge of Australian employment requirements; US/UK exposure is a plus.
• AI-first mindset: leverage AI and automation to scale the function.
• High attention to detail and reliable processes.
• Clear, warm written communication across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Run onboarding and offboarding end to end.
• Own Rippling as our HRIS and keep data accurate.
• Manage our Deel EOR workforce and related contracts.
• Support employees across US, UK, and Australia ensuring compliance.
• Administer benefits across regions and coordinate Open Enrollment.
• Collaborate with Finance on payroll accuracy and timing.
• Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment.
• Be the first point of contact for policies, leaves, benefits, and paperwork.
• Document and tighten HR processes to scale across countries and time zones.
