Job summary

Georg Fischer in Brisbane, Australia is seeking a highly organised Project Administrator/Coordinator to support fabrication projects. You will own procurement, handle purchase orders, and liaise with global suppliers to keep production on track.

The role requires strong organisational skills, ERP experience (SAP preferred), and comfort interpreting basic drawings. You will work closely with the Production Planner and cross-functional teams to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project administration, coordination or procurement.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office.
• Ability to interpret basic drawings or willingness to learn.
• Collaborative communicator with proactive problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement and purchasing of fabrication materials, components, consumables, and services.
• Raise, manage, and track purchase orders in SAP with proper coding and approvals.
• Expedite orders to meet production schedules.
• Support Production Planner with scheduling, capacity reviews and workflow coordination.
• Manage work order entry, order expediting, and documentation accuracy.
