Job summary

Fabinox is seeking a confident Project Coordinator to support project managers, designers and operations staff in delivering fabrication and refurbishment projects on time and budget. This role is based in Windsor, NSW and requires strong planning, procurement, and client-facing capabilities.

You will coordinate with trades, manage documentation, and help ensure WHS and quality standards are met. Ideal candidates will have a trade background in metal fabrication and at least 3 years in project

Qualifications

• Trade background with relevant experience in metal fabrication (minimum 3 years required).
• Project planning experience (minimum 3 years required).
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (advantageous).
• Welding Inspection (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Procurement and invoicing support, including invoice allocation, receipting, and raising purchase orders and jobs.
• Managing contractual requirements of each project in line with policies and procedures.
• Submitting monthly client progress claims in a timely manner per contract.
• Managing paperwork associated with contracts, programs, projects and services.
• Identifying schedule risks and communicating them to stakeholders with mitigations.
• Coordinating with project managers, architects, engineers, owners and others to meet goals.
• Overseeing contractor work and reporting on variations to work orders.
• Preparing and reviewing submissions and reports on activities.
• Collecting and analysing data on projects and reporting outcomes.
• Scheduling trades and coordinating all aspects of current projects.
• Holding toolbox meetings with contractors and ensuring site WHS standards.

We execute various fit-out and refurbishment projects to a high standard for a loyal, repeat-client base and are striving toward some big and exciting years ahead. We are seeking a confident Project Coordinator to work alongside our Project Managers, designers, and operations staff.

This role would suit someone with a trade background who has worked their way through the ranks, bringing a sound knowledge and understanding of the fabrication and welding industry and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget. As a Project Coordinator, you will provide planning and scheduling support and act as the key interface between project delivery teams and Fabinox clients. Roles & Responsibilities:

Procurement and invoicing support, including invoice allocation, receipting, and raising purchase orders and jobs. Managing contractual requirements of each project in line with company policies and procedures. Submitting monthly client progress claims in a timely manner and in strict accordance with the contract.

Managing paperwork associated with contracts, programs, projects, and services provided. Identifying schedule risks and communicating them to key stakeholders, including recommendations for mitigating actions where possible. Working with Project Managers, architects, engineering professionals, owners, and others to ensure project goals are met.

Overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders. Preparing and reviewing submissions and reports concerning the organization's activities. Collecting and analyzing data associated with projects undertaken, and reporting on project outcomes.

Contributing to the successful delivery of projects, considering time and budget constraints. Tracking assigned projects through their lifecycle (from initial lead through to project closure). Building and maintaining client relationships.

Scheduling trades and coordinating all aspects of current projects. Holding toolbox meetings with contractors and ensuring site WHS standards are met. Skills & Experience:

Trade background with relevant experience in metal fabrication (minimum 3 years required). Project planning experience (minimum 3 years required). Relevant tertiary qualifications (advantageous).

Highly analytical with the ability to think outside the box. Strong project management, communication, and administration skills. Strong IT proficiency, including MS Office applications.

Experience working in a consultancy or client-facing environment. Licence & Certification: Welding Inspection (Preferred)
