Job summary

Robertson Health Centre, located at Robertson Barracks in Holtze near Darwin, seeks a General Practitioner to deliver high-quality primary care to Defence personnel in a busy on-base facility. The role supports occupational medicine, fitness-for-duty assessments and preventive health within a multinational, multidisciplinary team.

The position offers on-site work during standard hours (07:30-15:30, Mon-Fri) with weekday/weekend on-call shifts shared, relocation assistance, and generous CPD

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner.
• FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration.

Robertson Health Centre

Robertson Health Centre is located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, 15km east of Darwin. It is home to the 1st Brigade & 1st Aviation Regiment. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2,800 members including a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2,500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy and mental health services. It operates a 22-bed low dependency ward 24/7. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 - 15:30 Monday to Friday

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
• Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health

Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount

What You Bring

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
• FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
• Minimum 2 years' GP experience in the last 5 years in a primary care setting
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
• Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
