Job summary

Warrigal Calwell is seeking a General Manager to lead the on-site operations of our Calwell home in Canberra, guiding residents, families and staff with purpose and compassion.

You will oversee service delivery, quality outcomes and a connected community, aligning with Warrigal's vision of supporting older people to feel valued, loved and respected. The role demands strong leadership, change management and a commitment to an inclusive workplace culture.

• Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams in aged care, nursing, or customer-focused industries, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality outcomes for residents and stakeholders.
• Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Health, Social Science, Business Management or a related discipline, with demonstrated expertise in operational management and service delivery within aged care or healthcare.
• Operational and Compliance Expertise: Experience in change management, quality assurance, compliance frameworks, and best practices in aged care or healthcare.
• Commitment to Culture and Values: Passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with Warrigal’s vision of supporting older people to feel valued, connected, and cared for.
