Western Sydney Gastro is seeking two experienced Medical Receptionists to join our busy gastroenterology practice in Sydney. The roles include Part-Time/Casual (approx.

2.5 days/week, 20+ hours, one Saturday per month) or full-time options with a supportive, professional team. The successful applicant will have at least one year of medical reception experience in a medical practice, strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of medical reception experience in a medical practice.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Professional, compassionate and approachable manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide friendly, professional service.
• Answer telephone calls, manage enquiries and schedule appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and electronic correspondence.
• Process patient billing, payments and account enquiries.
• Coordinate theatre lists, procedure bookings and hospital admissions.
• Perform daily financial reconciliations.
• Liaise with hospitals, GPs and other healthcare providers.
• Provide administrative support to doctors and the Practice Manager.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
