Lancemore Cleveland Estate in Victoria is seeking a skilled Gardener to maintain and present the gardens, wedding sites and outdoor spaces across the Hotel. This hands-on role requires caring for lawn, trees, shrubs and topiary with attention to detail.

You will work with a supportive team, enjoy flexible hours (2–5 days per week) and access exclusive staff benefits across the Lancemore Hotels group, while helping sustain the property's historic charm.

Cleveland Estate, situated in the historic country township of Lancefield has a brilliant opportunity available for a talented professional, Gardener to join us at our stunning, iconic property.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Deliver exceptional presentation of the gardens, wedding sites and outdoor spaces across the Hotel


• Grounds maintenance exclusive of vines and viticulture


• Hands on role with a solid understanding of managing a large garden property.


• Knowledge of modern techniques in lawn mowing and edging, pruning trees and shrubs, clipping of topiary, fertilizing, planting, turfing, pest and disease control


• Make recommendations on the Hotel grounds and assist with the long-term planning and development of the complex.

• Success in a similar role and exposure to a large scale garden operation


• An acute eye for detail and development of solutions to ensure the high standard is maintained.


• A good working knowledge of various types of associated equipment


• Ability to work under pressure in a varied, fast paced environment, by taking initiative and working collaboratively
